In the aftermath of the devastating series of explosions at the Port of Beirut on Tuesday August 4th, the Lebanese Government diligently began the forensic investigative process of getting to the literal bottom of the massive crater now resembling a man made lagoon as you can see in the After Satellite Image below. Two Official explanations quickly emerged of just what had caused this calamity in the Levant; A welder accidentally ignited a vast cache of Fireworks in a Warehouse located just east of Lebanonś second largest grain storage silo. 

Whatever was the cause of Tuesdays devastating blasts notice how the Mediterranean Sea swiftly reclaimed the vaporized concrete and rebar man-made structure beneath the now obliterated warehouse that was sturdy enough to support the massive Grain Silo located at the center of this image along with several large port-side warehouses along the Port of Beirut. 

The second explanation is that the massive second explosion was caused by the ignition of at least 2,750 Tons of Ammonium Nitrate (yes the same chemical fertilizer used in the 1995 bombing of the Murrow Federal Building in Oklahoma City) that had been confiscated aboard a ship in Lebanese waters back in 2013, and apparently inexplicably still sitting in the now annihilated Port side warehouse.
Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab promised that his government would not rest until justice is served on whoever might ultimately be proven to be responsible for this most powerful bomb-like explosion in Middle East history:

Yet according to a handful of eyewitnesses, and as you can see for yourself on at least a couple of videos posted below on Social Media by citizens of Beirut, there remains credible evidence that at least the second and most devastating explosion which Beirut residents described as resembling  a Mushroom Cloud-like explosion came from an ordnance streaking in from high altitude above the Mediterranean Sea from left to right . Lebanese President Michel Aoun has not eliminated the possibility that the series of explosions were caused by a rocket, missile, or bomb: 

¨The cause has not yet been determined yet. There is a possibility of external interference through a rocket, or bomb, or other act.¨ 

Fingers were quickly pointed at Israel, and logically so considering the recent series of mysterious fires, and bombings in Iran that have Israeli Mossad fingerprints all over them, and taking into account the long history of tensions, and hostilities between these two nations along the Eastern Mediterranean shoreline. While the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) prides itself on itś ability to conduct surgical strikes against enemy strategical nuclear, biological & conventional weapons sites with minimal collateral damage done to the local citizenry; Tuesdays explosions were candidly the most shocking in the long history of conflicts in the Middle East, and after all who else has more to gain if this was indeed a military strike by the IDF, and what other countries in the Levant Region have a bone to pick with Hezbollah, plus the military ordnance in their arsenal to achieve such a precise, and powerful strike that literally destroyed several square kilometres of businesses, and neighborhoods as we have seen in the aftermath of these unprecedented explosions felt as far away as Cyprus 150 miles away? These accusations of Israeli culpability were immediately denied by Jerusalem, yet further ignited into a tertiary internet viral explosion by Wednesday August 5th as reports emerged that Netanyahu in a speech he gave before the U.N. General Assembly in 2018 had pointed out on a satellite image of Beirut that his government had evidence of a Hezbollah weapons warehouse reportedly 

¨to be near or the exact location of Tuesdays devastating explosion.¨

In his 2018 now infamous ¨A picture worth a thousand missiles¨ Speech in 2018 Benyamin Netanyahu the Israeli Prime Minister as you may see in the image above, as well as in the videos posted below clearly stated that his sites of concern were located near the Beirut International Airport. As you can clearly see in this next Google Earth image of Beirut the primary target ¨Site 1¨ of Israeli concerns is located just north of the airport; while the site of Tuesdays massive explosions at the Port of Beirut is located several kilometres to the Northeast of the airport.
